I've always been into art - painting, watercolor, drawing, printmaking. It mainly started at the beginning of high school, I ended up taking art class 4 years in a row (which is very rare where I went to high school). Painting slowly became a passion of mine; I kept journals and more journals so I can whip one out when I have some kind of inspiration. What amazing me is how artists transform their artwork into fashionable clothing. One example is Lilly Pulitzer, she paints her original design on a canvas and then it becomes this beautiful clothing line. In my artwork I enjoy adding a little bit of "flare" to my pieces,
Designers use this originality to market their products so that consumers will be more appealed to it. In today's world everyone wants something unique to look at or to own, and that is what Lilly Pulitzer is going for.

Yes! Finally, spring has arrived. From the cool mornings to the rainy days, spring is the best time of the year. Some people think I am absolutely nuts but I beg to differ. Spring fashion is the reason why I love spring so much; you can throw on a sweater over that cute little dress you've been dying to wear, or just simply wrap it around your waist. My little formula for spring looks a little something like this : warmer weather + festival season = best time of the year (spring).
Here at fab'rik Jonesboro this is what we look forward to every year. We spring clean out our winter and fall clothing at the lowest prices you can possibly get. From April 7th to April 10th we are having our April Showers Sale to kickstart spring with some AMAZING deals! Each day is a deal of something different, be sure to check out our social media below so you do not miss any of it! Ever seen all of those pesky Facebook ads about signing up for a beauty bag for $10 a month to get samples of 5 different products? At first, I would say that I was very skeptical of spending $10 on a bag full of "crap". Now, six months later I begged to differ. Beauty vloggers have been swearing by these goodie bags for ages now. Plus, who wouldn't wanna get products delivered to your door step. From Nike, to Adidas everyone has their sneaker preference. Most people view Nike as a fashionable shoe and style oriented (which is why they are more expensive); and Adidas as the performance brand with less pleasing to the eye shoes. Ever since the day these shoe competitors were born, they have been in a constant tug-a-war battle of winning the consumer over. In 1984, Nike signed with Michael Jordan and launched the very first Air Jordan Nike. Lucky for Adidas, according to Forbes, in 2013 Kayne left Nike to sign with Adidas later then creating his Yeezy shoe... YeezySigning Kayne with Adidas has to be the height of compan'ys success so far. When you try to purchase Yeezy's online via Adidas website they are completely sold out. Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers can only be found on eBay as of right now for as much as $2,700... Not sure what market Kayne is trying to sell these sneakers too, unless he is just targeting the multimillion dollar celebrities that could only afford this shoe. Not only did Kayne launch a thousand dollar sneaker, he also is in the clothing industry now as well. Nothing about this clothing line screams "I need this right now", like the sneakers do for me. From a $4,000 coat to a $2,260 sweater, it looks as if you bought it from Goodwill. Since some people worship Kayne like some sort of a God, I am sure people are willing to pay this price to say that they have the brand in their overly priced closet and of course anything Kayne they will possibly buy. One way his clothing line even got off the ground is Kourtney Kardashian; she has been spotted around the Hills in her destroyed sweater dress (which she does rock it by the way). |
